Nebraska

WORKOUT 36 of 50 for Walk Across America and WORKOUT 36 of 50 for Step Across America.

We filmed with Chimney Rock as a backdrop in Morrill County. It was a hot 100 degrees summer day. A lot of our ancestors passed by Chimney Rock on the trek out west hundreds of years ago. It served as a marker that one was on the right path westward. One of Tyler’s ancestors has a gravestone marker monument near where we parked.

During the filming, it was so hot that we had to move locations. Luckily there was a lone tree that provided shade. We had no idea Nebraska could get so hot. It was a very desolate place and had a small visitors center that my youngest and his older brother enjoyed looking at while we filmed.

Start your journey through all 50 states right at home, with the Walk and Step Across America Program!

Step Across America. Fun combos, but so super hot!!!

The guys were trying to stay a little cooler by using an umbrella in the 100 degrees Fahrenheit weather.
