Always get ready with full face make-up in the hotel before we leave for the locations. When it’s super hot, I wear waterproof mascara because of how much I sweat when teaching.
What an experience to film at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. In the ground, there are 10 Cadillacs buried and standing up on end. Visitors bring spray paint cans and make their mark on whichever car they choose. By the time they leave, chances are their mark will be painted over by someone else.
It was a bit muggy and hot for October, and Jenny rolled her ankle when a massive bug flew into her face while filming. Luckily it was near the end of the workouts. We met more fitness friends while filming here. So fun to meet in person!
That night we ate at The Big Texan Steak Ranch where they have a continuous challenge to offer a free steak if anyone can finish off a 72 oz. steak in one hour! It was definitely a fun touristy place to eat. They served my youngest his food in a little cowboy hat turned upside down. He wore it back to our hotel.
